During your first massage therapy appointment, you will complete a health history questionnaire.  Linda will conduct a brief but thorough intake session with you.  Your concerns, questions, health challenges & wellness goals will be addressed.  Then an individualized treatment session will be created to effectively address your needs.  Your session will be conducted in a professional, safe, quiet, and nurturing environment.  You will always be appropriately draped. The treatment may include:  music, aromatherapy, warmed massage table, heated hand mitts/feet booties, support cushions to create maximum comfort, & stretching to tight muscles.  Clients being treated for Motor Vehicle Accident injuries may receive the following treatment/program in addition to their massage & bodywork session:   Moist heat/cold application, manual traction, therapeutic ultrasound, a therapeutic stretching and strengthening program, and wellness coaching.   After your appointment, Linda will offer her recommendations regarding:  the duration & frequency of future treatments, ergonomic work-station modifications, and traditional & alternative health practitioner referrals.
